Gratitude.vc is about supporting entrepreneurs who will make a difference in the world. None of us would be who we are today without the guidance and support of certain individuals in our life. Hence, we are here to guide you on your entrepreneurial journey and open doors to potential customers or investors.
Elise set up Gratitude as she is passionate about helping startups succeed. Through working with over hundreds of startups during her stint at the NUS incubator and accelerators (Startup Leadership Programme (SLP) and Entrepreneur First) she developed tried-and-tested frameworks and methods to help startups succeed. In addition to that, she has assembled a team of experts from various fields, ranging from digital marketing to fundraising. Together, they bring onboard a wealth of knowledge, know-how and connections to help startups like yours get to the next stage more quickly.
Prior to her foray into entrepreneurship and venture capital, Elise worked in corporates (Citibank and Procter and Gamble) in product management and financial analysis. She also has experience working for startups like techsailor (acquired by To The New) and alldealsasia (acquired by Matahari mall). In 2012, she started the Singapore Chapter of SLP before going on to manage portfolio startups and lead investment deals at NUS Enterprise. After 2 years, she went to take her MBA at INSEAD and went on to head investor relations and fundraising at EF. At EF, she helped over 40 companies raise an average of US$1m from VCs and angels within one year from the graduation of the programme.
